Stove Servicing
Along with chimney sweeping, we also service stoves across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion. We are an experienced team with an exceptionally high level of service. We will service your appliance & provide replacement parts where necessary. We are HETAS registered & fully insured.

During chimney sweeping your stove will be checked over and we will advise if any servicing is required. If you have noticed any metal parts inside your woodburner or multifuel stove have warped or cracked, the fibre rope seals around the doors and glass are becoming frayed, or the internal lining bricks have become thin or crumbling, then please let us know when you book the appointment so we can have the appropriate parts on board.

What Happens During a Service
Please make sure your stove, fire or range has been allowed to cool fully before our arrival. Rayburns and Agas running on anthracite can take up to 48 hours to completely cease burning. Sometimes, even if the stove is quite cool, there are still combustion fumes being emitted and this can be dangerous while the flue is being cleaned. Please contact us should you have any queries about letting out your appliance.

As soon as we arrive, we will cover all areas we will be working on with clean, waterproof dustsheets. We will then check all parts, taking apart your appliance where necessary. If required, we can source spare parts and can replace most rope seals and fire bricks immediately. Prices depend on the sizes required. Other parts (glass, most metal parts and some special bricks) we can either supply or provide you with details so that you can order them. If required, we can arrange to fit these parts at another date. (Subsequent visits to fit parts start at £50 ex. materials).

Your stove/range will be cleaned during the service. Once we've completed the service & put everything back together, we'll test it thoroughly. ​
